Made by someone who has to get dressed too

Fast modest wear is cheap and shapeless. Luxury modest wear is priced for a wedding, not a Wednesday. Modesty by Hani sits deliberately in between — considered cloth, restrained design, everyday price.

Coverage is not something we add at the end. Length, opacity, sleeve and neckline are decided first, and then the piece is made beautiful within them.

Every fabric is tested for opacity in daylight, washed three times before it goes into a sample, and fitted on a real body in the middle of the size range — not the smallest.

Fit & fabric

Our sizes run true. If you are between two, take the smaller for the slip and the larger for the abaya — it is meant to skim, not fit.

Model is 5'7" and wears M in every piece shown. Full measurements are on each product page.

Care

Wash cold at 30°, with like colours. Dry flat, out of direct sun. Cool iron, lining first.

Crepe and chiffon will outlast almost anything if you keep them out of the tumble dryer. Nothing here needs dry cleaning.
